Mawlana Hazar Imam wishes for us all, regardless of age, to live as one community and as one Jamat - this is the most humbling part of being here and is the most rewarding. The greatest part of being here is that on festival days you can walk out of your front door and wish your neighbours “Kushiali Mubarak” or “Eid Mubarak”. We are one big family. I genuinely believe this has been the best move of my life - I would not change it for a second. It has empowered me to make my own decisions, to live with dignity and comfort, and to continue to believe that anything is possible…”

Gulshan Govani, resident

“When I first came to have a look I was very happy, it is a very clean and beautiful place. I can say the facility is like a hotel. I came here not knowing anyone and now I have made very good friends. I go to Jamatkhana on Friday and special days - Jubilee Court provides transportation so we can all go to Jamatkhana together everyday - it is great! The staff are so kind, they come and ask how I am and provide so much support and love. If anything had happened to me before I moved here, nobody would know. Now I always sleep well, feel safe and peaceful…”

Arif Pradhan, trustee

“The team had a vision of a place where our older generation and vulnerable could live, with dignity and purpose and with the knowledge that there are people who care about their future and the way in which they live…”

Mr Barry Gardiner, MP

“It is absolutely clear that the sense of honour, of respect, that sense of the whole community - stressing the worth of the individual - is absolutely fundamental o a place like this and this is embodied in Jubilee Court…”
